Portrait Photography for Women in North West London

Studio-lit, fully guided portrait sessions in my Kingsbury studio.

You don't need a special occasion to have portraits made of yourself. Some women come for a birthday, some for a new chapter at work, some because there are no recent photographs of them that they actually like.

I guide the whole session, from how you stand to where your hands go, so you don't need to arrive knowing how to pose.

How the Session Works

Before

We talk about how you'd like the portraits to feel and plan your outfits together. If you're unsure what to wear, you can send me photos of the options before the session.

In the studio

I set the light for you and guide you throughout: posture, hands, expression and small movements. The direction is deliberate, but there is still room to adapt to the person in front of me.

After

Within 4 days your selection gallery is ready in a secure app. I send you a personal access code, and you choose your favourite images there. Your fully retouched images are delivered within 4 weeks.

Adult birthday portraits and boudoir sessions are booked as portrait sessions, with the same packages.

Every session includes professional studio lighting, posing guidance and one-to-one direction throughout. All images are high resolution and fully retouched.

What to Wear and How to Prepare

  • Bring a few more outfits than your package includes. We'll choose together on the day.
  • Plain colours and simple textures work well under studio light. Fine stripes, small busy patterns and large logos tend to distract.
  • Bring shoes that go with each outfit. They need clean soles to be worn on the set.
  • Hair and makeup are not included. Most clients arrive ready, with a little extra powder for touch-ups.

Questions

I don't know how to pose. Is that a problem?

No. Most people don't. I guide you through every part of the session, including posture, hands and expression, and show you what to do before we take the photograph.

How does the booking fee work?

A £99 non-refundable booking fee secures your date and time, and it is deducted from your package. Your booking is confirmed once the fee is paid and the contract is completed. A date can be held for up to 48 hours while you do this.

When do I pay the rest?

The remaining balance is due at the end of the session.

Can I buy more images?

Yes. Extra fully retouched images are £30 each. You can choose them from your selection gallery.

What if I'm running late?

Lost time is taken from your session. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be cancelled and the booking fee is not refunded.

Where is the studio?

The studio is in Kingsbury, North West London (NW9), with free parking. The full address is sent with your booking confirmation.
