Some women come on their own, some bring the whole family. Either way, the session is planned around how you'd like to remember this time.

I guide every pose, from how you stand to where your hands rest, and the studio wardrobe has gowns you can wear, so you don't need to arrive with everything planned.

How the Session Works

Before

We plan the look, the outfits and who will be in the photographs. You can choose gowns from the studio wardrobe before the day.

In the studio

I set the light and guide you through each pose, including where your hands go and how to stand comfortably. We take breaks whenever you need them.

After

Within 4 days your selection gallery is ready in a secure app. I send you a personal access code, and you choose your favourite images there. Your fully retouched images are delivered within 4 weeks.

What to Wear and How to Prepare

  • Choose from the studio wardrobe, bring your own outfits, or mix both.
  • Fitted clothes and simple fabrics show your bump best. Plain colours work well under studio light.
  • If your partner and children are joining, choose colours that go together rather than matching exactly.
  • Hair and makeup are not included. Most clients arrive ready, with a little extra powder for touch-ups.

Questions

When should I have my maternity session?

Most clients have their session between 28 and 34 weeks. It's best to book early, as dates fill up.

Can my partner and children be in the photographs?

Yes. The Story and The Legacy include your partner and children. The Chapter is for mum-to-be only.

Do I need to bring my own outfits?

No. You can wear gowns from the studio wardrobe, bring your own, or do both.

I've never posed for photographs. Is that a problem?

No. I guide you through every part of the session and show you what to do before we take the photograph.

How does the booking fee work?

A £99 non-refundable booking fee secures your date and time, and it is deducted from your package. Your booking is confirmed once the fee is paid and the contract is completed. A date can be held for up to 48 hours while you do this.

When do I pay the rest?

The remaining balance is due at the end of the session.

Can I buy more images?

Yes. Extra fully retouched images are £30 each. You can choose them from your selection gallery.

What if I'm running late?

Lost time is taken from your session. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be cancelled and the booking fee is not refunded.

Where is the studio?

The studio is in Kingsbury, North West London (NW9), with free parking. The full address is sent with your booking confirmation.
