Family Photography in North West London

Relaxed, guided family sessions in my Kingsbury studio, for families of every size.

Most families have plenty of phone pictures, but very few where everyone is in the frame. A studio session puts the whole family in one photograph, with me directing so nobody has to.

I guide everyone through each pose, keep the children busy between shots, and work at a pace that suits the youngest person in the room.

How the Session Works

Before

We plan who's coming, the colours you'll wear and the photographs that matter most to you, such as one with the grandparents or one of the children on their own.

In the studio

I direct the poses and keep things light for the children. Breaks for snacks and nappy changes are part of the plan.

After

Within 4 days your selection gallery is ready in a secure app. I send you a personal access code, and you choose your favourite images there. Your fully retouched images are delivered within 4 weeks.

What to Wear and How to Prepare

  • Choose two or three colours for the whole family and mix them, rather than matching outfits exactly.
  • Avoid logos, bold patterns and very bright colours. Soft, plain tones work best under studio light.
  • Book around young children's naps, and bring snacks and a favourite toy.
  • Bring a spare outfit for the little ones, just in case.

Questions

How many people can come?

The family packages are for up to 5 people. For 6 to 12 people, choose an extended family package.

Can grandparents join?

Yes. If the group is larger than 5 people, the extended family packages apply.

My children don't sit still. Is that a problem?

Not at all. I work at their pace, and short breaks are part of every family session.

How does the booking fee work?

A £99 non-refundable booking fee secures your date and time, and it is deducted from your package. Your booking is confirmed once the fee is paid and the contract is completed. A date can be held for up to 48 hours while you do this.

When do I pay the rest?

The remaining balance is due at the end of the session.

Can I buy more images?

Yes. Extra fully retouched images are £30 each, or £40 each for extended family sessions. You can choose them from your selection gallery.

What if I'm running late?

Lost time is taken from your session. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be cancelled and the booking fee is not refunded.

Where is the studio?

The studio is in Kingsbury, North West London (NW9), with free parking. The full address is sent with your booking confirmation.
